Craig Bell is a USPTA Master Professional and currently is Director of Tennis at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas since 1997. Craig started playing tennis in 1974 and working at Woodlake Racquet Club in Oklahoma City at age fourteen and has been actively involved in the tennis industry since then for over forty years. Craig has played high school, college and professional tennis and along the way he has won various state, conference and regional events.

Craig started teaching tennis in 1984 and has worked with numerous state, regional and nationally ranked players throughout his 30 plus year teaching career. Craig has actively been involved in the various tennis communities where he has lived and worked. He has served as President of the San Antonio Tennis Professional Association, President of Dallas Professional Tennis Association and is currently serving as President of the USPTA Texas Division. For his years of service to the Dallas tennis community he was awarded the “Pro Volunteer of the Year Award in 2007 and in 2017 was inducted into the Tut Bartzen Hall of Fame in February, 2017. He has also been recognized in 2009 and in 2014 as the USPTA Texas Division’s “Professional of the Year” recipient.

Through his skills on and off the court, he has helped raise millions of dollars for various charities whether playing as a pro-am participant, generously donating to charity events or organizing and running tournaments on behalf of charitable organizations.

Craig considers his greatest accomplishment to date as being married since August of 1983 to his wife Cindy whom he met while playing collegiate tennis at Weber State University. Craig and Cindy have four children – three daughters and one son with the entire Bell family having spent time on the court at one time or another.

Craig really enjoys the “Great Game of Tennis” and is appreciate of all the benefits it has afforded him on and off the court.
